<p>This example will show how to use a Adafruit NFC shield to read an NFC card using the Arduberry.</p>

<h3><strong>Step 1</strong></h3>
<p>Slide on the Adafruit NFC shield on the Arduberry and power on the <a href="http://ift.tt/1UIqQdK" itemprop="url" target="_bank" title="Raspberry"><strong>Raspberry</strong></a> Pi.</p>

<h3> Step 2</h3>
<p>Download the <a href="http://ift.tt/1MDYn6K" target="_blank">Adafruit NFC shield I2C library</a> on the Raspberry Pi using the Netsurf Browser and save it in<strong> /usr/share/Arduino/libraries</strong> and extract it there.</p>

<h3>Step 3</h3>
<p>Open <a href="http://ift.tt/1pCdnqV" itemprop="url" target="_bank" title="Arduino"><strong>Arduino</strong></a>, and open the example <b>readMifare </b>from the <strong>Adafruit_NFCShield_I2C </strong>folder. Change the programmer to <strong>Raspberry Pi GPIO</strong> and <strong>upload</strong> the sketch to the Arduberry(use Ctrl+Shift+U).<a href="http://ift.tt/20RtQFa" target="_blank"><img alt="upload4" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-306" height="293" src="http://ift.tt/1MDYn6N" width="295" /></a><a href="http://ift.tt/20RtTAH" target="_blank"><br /></a></p>

<h3>Step 4</h3>
<p>The data that is coming from the NFC shield is coming at 115200 baud, so we need to configure minicom. Open a terminal and open minicom setup</p>

Also press <strong>F </strong>to disable Hardware Flow Control. <h3> Step 5</h3>
